I have just completed a trip to China with Br Yusuf and Sr. Adeeba . We visited Beijing , Xian and Shanghai . Everything was very well organized and at the right pace . Food was amazing the local tour guides were informative. Transport everyday was comfortable. When we had free time Br Yusuf gave us good directions about how we could fill our time. Shukran to everyone who made this trip memorable. My first group tour but inshallah not my last . 🙏🏽

Alhamdulillah, JazakumAllah Khayran for an amazing 10day Islamic trip to China 🇨🇳, rich in religious, traditional and cultural histories. Islamic Travel took us to Beijing, Xian & Shanghai and we did not miss out on anything! Br Yusuf & Sis Adeeba looked out for each member of the group and cared for us like family. With the knowledge of the local guides & Br Yusuf, we learnt so much about China's long history with Islam. We visited 800-1100yr old masajids 🕌🕌, the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors and other main attractions. The restaurants organised by Islamic Travel were top notch tables full of the most delicious dishes 🍜🥗🫖👌 Shopping was also a highlight in little streets of trinket souvenir stores where haggling to the lowest price could exhaust you but also bring about lots of laughter 😂 🛍🛍

I had the experience of a life time in my recent Islamic Travel trip to China. Yusuf has organised an excellent itinerary which was very well thought through with amazing cities, experiences, food and Islamic history. It was an eye opening experience which challenges one’s preconceptions about China and I really enjoyed getting to know the people, their culture, language, food and history from their perspective. Yusuf was a fantastic guide who was always there for his tour group providing advice, support and recommendations all with his genuine warmth, care and infectious humour. Yusuf was surrounded by a very supportive team of local tour guides who were welcoming, helpful and fonts of cultural and historical knowledge - a big shout out to Peter (Beijing), Wei (Xian) and JJ (Shanghai). I highly recommend Islamic Travel’s China tour. It’s an experience you do not want to miss.

Yusuf Dhanshe of Nomad Travel opened the door for us of Muslim China with generosity, hospitality and conscientiousness. Bonds of friendship grew as we discovered unbelievable China and Muslim roots there. Handling all the logistics and looking after us so well, Nomad travel enabled us to take full advantage of our time there and grow intellectually, spiritually ? and culturally.

 Our needs and travel wishes were met with sincerity and we were able to build bonds of friendship. We were treated as family rather than just another tour group. My only recommendation would be to extend the China trip to more days as there is so much to absorb in that massive country and distances are great, as is travel just to arrive in Beijing to start the trip. I think it would be wise to advise future groups that the China tour is not a rest by any stretch . Indeed, it is physically demanding but was planned out in the most logical sequence with refreshing prayer breaks at beautiful mosques.

Personally, I had studied a lot of Chinese history previously, but for many of the group, it would have been useful to have a recommended reading list sent prior to the trip so as to be more intellectually prepared for the amazing sites we visited. Ideally, handouts outlining key historical moments at certain points would have been welcomed. Thank you for a very blessed trip.

Best Ramadan Umrah I have travelled with Islamic Travel on several occasions: - Umrah in 2022 - Umrah during Ramadan in 2024, and _ China trip in 2025 It was the best experiences I had with the very well planned and organised small groups. It was all taken care of and plenty of guides where there to ensure we are always taken care of. Both Br Yusuf and Br Hani were exceptionally helpful and guided us through every step. The transport, hotels and daily guides were amazing. I would like to sincerely thank Br. Yusuf and Br. Hani, for making those a very special and memorable trips particularly Ramadan Umrah trip.
