Hajj or Umrah is a once in a lifetime experience for some. It is with great honour that we welcomeΒ you for a glorious Umrah pilgrimage. You are amongst the blessed few that have been selected by Allah to visit the Holy lands during these testing times.
Our intention is to follow in the blessed footsteps of the final Messengerο·Ί in the greatest city that has ever ascended. Our Umrah packages in 2023 and 2024 do just that.

Guidance & Lessons with
Sheikh Adama Konda
The Imam at Canberra Islamic Centre – Australian National Islamic Library. Also the Wellbeing teacher at the Islamic School of Canberra.
Imam Konda graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia. He later also studied at the International Islamic University of Malaysia. He came to Darwin in December 1995, as the first full time Imam of the Islamic Society of Darwin since 1990. In 2009, he departed to Canberra to assume his current position of the Imam of the Canberra Islamic Centre.
He did his English studies and has completed his Graduate Certificate of Education in 2006 from Charles Darwin University. He was awarded the Charles See Kee Awards (2008) and was the NTβs State Finalist for Australia’s Local Hero Award (2010).
He has also been involved with the Together for Humanity Foundation which organises and presents interfaith cross-cultural programs in schools with the aim of fostering inclusion and acceptance between young people from different backgrounds.
Sheikh Abdel-Nasser, a well know, much loved and respected Imam in Melbourne, is currently the Imam and Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies teacher at the Australian International Academy in Melbourne, Australia.
Originally from Egypt, Sheikh Abdel-Nasser completed his Bachelorβs in Religious Foundations, Islamic Propagation and Islamic Culture in (Ausuluddeen Waddaβwah al-Islamiyyah) at Al-Azhar University, followed by his post-graduate Diploma and Masters. He then went on to complete his PhD in Religious Foundations, Islamic Propagation, Islamic Culture and Comparative Religions in 2013.
Upon migrating to Australia, he was the Imam and teacher at Lysterfield Mosque from 1998 until 2003, taking up his current position at the Australian International Academy since 2004.
Sheikh Abdel-Nasser will be available throughout the journey, with short spiritually uplifting lessons, guidance, and ready to answer any questions you may have, to help make your Umrah trip a rewarding and memorable experience.

Depart from Australia in evening.
Melbourne or Sydney Airports flying Emirates Airlines (30Kg Luggage limit)
Sydney scheduled departure 10:00PM
Melbourne scheduled departure 10:55PM
Arrive Jeddah Airport in early morning, Transfer direct to Madinah hotel (approx 3.5 hours drive).
- Check into Madinah hotel on arrival
- Brief optional orientation to area surrounding hotel.
- Walking tour of Prophets Mosque area on Tuesday morning.
- Perform daily prayers in Prophets Mosque, including Juma salaat (on Friday proceed to Masjid by 10am to secure a place inside).
- Visit the Prophets grave and the Rawdah at your convenience
- Group Ziyarat tour of the Islamic locations around Madinah.
- Optional evening lessons with Sheikh.
Check out from Hotel in Madinah (wearing Ihram), transfer to Meqaat.
Transfer by private bus to Makkah, stopping for Salaat and lunch break along the way.
Arrive Makkah in late afternoon, check in to 5* hotel closest to Masjid.
- Perform Umrah as group, guided throughout to ensure a completed Umrah inshaAllah.
- Perform daily prayers in Masjid al Haram
- Perform additional Umrahs as you wish.
- Group Ziyarat tour of the Islamic locations around Makkah.
- Optional evening lessons with the Sheikh.
After checking out of hotel on Wednesday 31st and performing a farewell Tawwaf for those wishing to do so, we depart for Jeddah Airport.
After check out in the afternoon, transfer to Jeddah airport for return flight back to Australia.
