by sailing into the sunset in a felucca on the longest and most iconic river in the world, the Nile river with authentic Egyptian dinner.

Optional camel or horse ride into the Sahara or Quad Bike activity

Dive deep into the Islamic culture of Egypt, visiting the Citadel of Saladin & mosque of Mohamed Ali, the mosques of Amr Ibn Alas, Imam Al-Shafii and granddaughter of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, Sayida Zeinab.

Then unravel the culinary secrets of downtown & old Cairo with a walking food tour through the chaotic souks & alley ways.

Today you also experience the Old Souk, a spiritual and cultural Al Tannoura dance, & traditional dinner in Khain el Khalili, the heart of Islamic Cairo

Heading to Alexandria, once the capital of Egypt, founded by Alexander the Great. Visit the famous Gardens of Montaza, and the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt). Enjoy a seafood lunch on the beautiful Mediterranean coast, before continuing to another ancient wonder of the world, the 15th Century Citadel of Qaitbay  lighthouse of the pharaohs).

Finish the day with a relaxing walking tour of the old city streets, alley ways and old style trams of Alexandria.

Head back to Cairo via Rosetta (Madinat Rashid), the city where the sea meets the river. Following the Ottoman invasion in 1517, Rosetta became the most important archaeological Egyptian city, reflecting the wonders of Islamic architecture.

Continuing to Cairo, you will stop in Tanta to taste everything authentic farm life has to offer. Here you will help to gather all the ingredients from the farm and participate in  preparing an authentic, traditional Egyptian farm lunch, which you will enjoy with the local Egyptian family. The secret delicacies of this experience is one of the highlights of this trip.

You can’t visit Cairo without embracing the 1000 plus years open-air museum that hosts the prestigious Al-Azhar University and the greatest collection of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world. You will be hosted to a private talk and Quranic recitation.

Visit the Hussein mosque, one of the most sacred Islamic sites in Egypt, this mosque is the reputed burial place of the head of Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed .صلى الله عليه وسلم

Finally, time for Moez St, established over 1000 years ago, the one kilometre long Moez St is a mix of medieval mosques and buildings alongside modern vendors and shops, ending the day in an exotic Egyptian restaurant with panoramic mountain views of Old Cairo.
