Trishaw ride through the Old Quarter also known as the ‘Hanoi’s 36 streets. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities around you.

Today, you’ll swap the bustle of Hanoi for the tranquillity of the Mai Chau, a lush valley 140km (87mi) southwest of the capital.

Inhabited by several ethnic minority groups in the mountains of Hoa Binh province. Following a lunch of local delicacies, you’ll cycle through rice fields to a White Thai village and experience farm life – including collecting food for buffalos and feeding them.

Enjoy fresh fruit and honey tea with the indigenous people while embracing their slower pace of life.

Dinner at local restaurant. Stay overnight in Mai Chau

Hike through the countryside and visit Na Chao village

This morning, you’ll take a short transfer to Bao La commune and continue from there to reach Na Chao village. Get a deeper feel for the Mai Chau countryside by following a short hiking trail and glimpse inside the traditional stilt houses built and lived in by local families. You’ll learn all about the history and culture of the White Thai ethnic group, who live in the area, and attend a class on weaving bamboo baskets at a White Thai house before returning to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Stay overnight in Ha Noi

07:00: Breakfast at hotel then check out.

08:30: Head East for 3 hours driving to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddy fields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling.

Upon arrival in Halong, check in the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating houses and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance.

Back to the cruise, enjoy cooking demonstration before having dinner.

Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure.

06:00 -7:00 – Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck.

In the morning – Tea, coffee and light breakfast is served with fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:30 – Discover Cat Ba Island- Lan Ha Bay on the hidden route.

You will be transferred to the day tour cruise to visit the bay to go further than Lan Ha Bay. You start the journey to discover Viet Hai village – a peaceful village with extremely beautiful scenery by bike, through vast rice fields. You stop to rest and visit traditional old houses made from straw, mud, and bamboo, learning about the lives of the local people.

12:00 – Return to the day tour cruise. You will be served lunch with a variety of dishes at the restaurant.

14:00 – The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area- Ba Trai Dao beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with nature’s amazing white sand, very quiet and few tourists. You are free to swim or participate in kayaking activities.

16:30 – Return to Cruise. Enjoy the sunset on Lan Ha Bay.

19:15 – Enjoy dinner at a restaurant

06:00 -7:00 – In the morning – Tea, coffee and light breakfast is served with fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:00 – Explore Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay
We will visit the Dark and Bright cave – famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights.
This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boats or kayaking, which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the Limestone Mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.

09:00 – Back to the boat for check-out
10:00 – Brunch time – during this time, the cruise slowly navigates emerald water and thousands of Karst Mountains towards the Harbor.

11:00 – 11:30 – Back to Tuan Chau Harbor
Bus transfer service by the highway from Halong to Hanoi is available for booking in advance.
Transfer back to hotel then private car transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang.

Transfer to Hoi An.

08.00 – This morning, the guide will come to the hotel and escort you for a walk around Hoi An and exploring featured sights of the town such:

  • 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge
  • Phuc Kien Assembly Halls
  • Tan Ky Old House
  • Central market
  • Hoi An museum

Then the Hoi An country tour.
Drive your way thru rustic villages and green farm lands to visit Tra Que village that famous for growing special herbs and vegetable on the hot sand with traditional techniques and bio fertilizer, perhaps join with locals on their daily farm work.
You will have a chance to observe locals working on their farms and water. Visit local homes, talk with local hosts to learn about local file and enjoy tea with them.

Enjoy a cooking class to cook and learn about some of local specialties.

Later, enjoy a round bamboo boat rowing trip thru the water coconut forest in Cam Thanh which was the lair of Viet Cong during the war.

Dinner at Halal Restaurant in Hoi An

Overnight in hotel in Hoi An.

Welcome to Saigon (officially known as Ho Chi Minh City) – Vietnam!

After breakfast transfer to the airport – flight to Ho Chi Minh City, also called Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam.

Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to downtown.

The guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for the city tour. We will visit the most interesting sights of Saigon such as Lam Son Mosque, the Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), War Museum

Next We will continue our visit with the Jamia Al Muslimin Mosque,  Then, free time for shopping in Ben Thanh market.

Lunch and dinner at halal restaurant.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Breakfast at hotel. Get picked-up at your hotel and drive to Cai Be to take a river boat trip.

  • Taste the local fruit, coconut juice on the boat.
  • Visit local work – the handicraft with water hyacinth, banana leaf hammock.
  • Visit the local taste of coconut candy, pop rice.
  • Take the rowing boat in the small canal surrounding by mangroves.
  • Have lunch at the local restaurant

Highlights of the day is taking the long boat trip crossing the River of Tien to Vinh Long Province.

Drive to Can Tho.

Have dinner at the homestay.

Overnight in Can tho

06:30 (or 07:00) In the morning we will get up earlier and board our boat to travel on the Mekong River to the Cai Rang floating market. We will travel amongst hundreds of boats visiting this famous market with traders busy to sell their fresh produce. Next, we will be able to see and experience how to make Vietnamese noodles.

Then transfer (your-own) to the Ba Lang countryside.  The rustic local market will welcome you. The familiar image of the locals “the ferry that takes guests to the river” and you will experience crossing the river on this ferry.

Cycle along the village road, observe the daily activities of the locals in the countryside. Have your camera ready for the breath taking scenery along this bike tour.

Lunch at local house: join the hosts in a cooking activity to prepare for your lunch.
